yeah. I'll go with a separate account though. I hate it when people use my art for tags then go like "oh, I thought it was stock like that other image you had there" >.>
I suggest starting a new account for your stock. Its fine when it is just 10 images, but after a while you get more and more uploaded, and it changes your traffic, scews your stats, and your stock gets compared to your art. If you have a separate account for your stock, you can make it a smiliar name to your current (if you wish), add them as a collection to your page, and link like hell. But it is an obvious line separating your art and your resources. However, I do agree with ~ArtistInProgress about the issues with not accessing a second account as often.
I've had to do this for both my stock and my stamps/wallpapers because they were changing the feel of my gallery. I was also getting so many favourites for my stamps that I felt it was detracting from my photography. Its up to you in the end, but I reccomend starting a separate account specifically for stock
There are pros and cons to both. If you're not online often to check a stock account, it might be easier to post it on your main account. That said, if you want your art account to just be art and look clean, a stock account could come in handy.
If they (the stocks) are not free, then you should be able to enhance the bandwidth of your site a little without having to spend any additional funds of your own.
If they (the stocks) can't pay for that bandwidth, then just put 'em here on deviantART someplace.
