Blending with grass - no paint by FrozenStarRo Blending with grass - no paint by FrozenStarRo
They really ought to extend that title character limit

Anyways this tutorial is to show my way of blending models or objects with grass backgrounds without painting the grass over to give it a real look.

No level really, if you know how to use the eraser and change the brush size.

Full-view or download :)

Example is my work "Take a bow" [link]

Model is =lucretia-stock

wow hehe In my last work I used that brush :D
but I made a new layer, painted with the grass brush and change the blend mode to multiply :P (because the glass was too dark) but I didnt think I should erase with the brush!! And I think this's better!! thank you for this :aww:!!

Great tute! I discovered a variation of this a few days back while doing one of my own projects. I used a layer mask instead of the eraser and found fine tuning the grass a little easier and less destructive of the image. Your work is great, thanks for sharing.

I usually use the 3 px sized brush and change the shape dynamics so the brush will fade :] But that tip is good, too!

I saw this exact same tutorial done by `LuneBleu sometime ago.
Did you learn the technique from her? If you did, I don't know if it's very righteous to re-do the tutorial. :(

I didn't. I'm self-taught and pretty much learned all things Photoshop by myself over the past 2 years. Her only tutorial that I checked was the one for changing facial expressions
